is a humper too, has been since he was very little (like when we brought him home!) and continued even after being fixed. His favorite thing is pillows! I probably would just let him do it, except he has a little problem. His little 'thing' comes out too far (the WHOLE thing, base of it and all!) and gets stuck out and starts turning purple.
I have spoke with several vets about it and it is common, but can be dangerous. They can get bacteria from it, or if it stays out, it could actually die!
(Scarey!) So I try my best to stop him, but it doesn't always work. I end up having to put mineral oil or sugar on it to get it to go back in! I never, ever in a million years thought that is something I would be doing!!! Haha, the things we do for our babies, huh?????
