They all are doing great as is mom. The little 2 oz runt is the best eater. They are quite active little things. The birth was the most amazing thing I ever witnessed. And Shortie is an awesome mommy. We did have to make an emergency vet trip after the 4th puppy because the placenta didn't come out with the pup. Her labor stoped then for an hour and she started having some bright red blood. It was scairey. So off to the vet we went. Thats when we found out that there was 2 more. I was so suprised. They gave her a shot of that oxitocin and on the way home the placenta came out and a puppy was born going down the road. Shortie was so calm during the birthing. She never whined, groweled, or anything like that. She would just shake a little and then push like it was nothing. I am so proud of her and she is so proud of her babies.
I do have one question: With her having such a large litter is there anything special I should be feeding her? I just worry about her getting down. She already looks skinny. Also when can I give her a bath? If someone can tell me how to do it then I will send pics of mom and puppies. I am so excited. Thanks so much for all your help through this!

Congrats on your new babies. Can't wait to see pictures. Wow 6 that's a lot for such a little girl. How many boys & girls did she have?
