Lenora, I see where you're coming from, but in my opinion talking about it in hushed tones isn't going to make the problem go away. Obviously racism is still a serious issue in our society, and that is just unacceptable. Unless the problem is called out and spoken of, it will never change and it will never advance.

I don't necessarily believe that the Reverand was inteding to make a racist comment or make certain races feel inferior or like a victim. I believe that his comments were of good intentions and he made a point, but I believe the same point could have been made in a different way.
