Thankyou Patty for starting this thread - and especially when you have so much to deal with yourself !

I am going to see the consultant on Thursday 22nd Jan....a few days time...but he is just a general surgeon and I need to see a specialist to see if they will operate sometime or am I really too high risk as they are telling me I am.
I must admit the headaches/migraines are terrible...so painful -and last for 5/6 days at a time with no relief...that is the worst thing...plus I felt like running away when I heard, and had a rough few months.....but I am getting there and I have had 41 years, and should be greatful - as people with my condition -Type 3/4 EDS- don't make 40....and I am still here ha ha !!!
Anyway as we can see on this wonderful prayers/thoughts thread there are ALWAYS people worse off than ourselves and we should be greatful for all we have the time to enjoy.

Debra, I've thought about you often....They say prayers and a positive attitude can do wonders, and you certainly have both....Kenny must be so worried about you......I will be thinking of you Thursday and I hope you here something positive.....
