Welcome to YT.
Congratulations on your new puppy.
When she jumps up on you turn your back on her. When she
stops tell her she's a good girl and treat her. It may take
several attemps but don't give up. Puppies are full of energy
and she is still young. Training comes with maturity but it's
never to early to start. Teach her to sit as well.
Stand in front of her and put a treat over her nose and bring
it back over her nose so she looks up and sit's. Tell her good
girl and give her the treat. Yorkies are very smart and learn
fast. Being persistant is key. Sometimes they have more
persistant than we are
I personally don't think it's too cold to train her outdoors.
Make sure she has on a coat or sweater and take her out
about 15mins after drinking water. Makes sure you have
treats to treat her when she goes. After eating about 20 mins
You don't have to stay out long just long enough for her to
do her business.
Good luck and welcome again.
