What can I do? I'm trying to potty train (pee pad train) my puppy & she is 5mos. old. I thought we were making progress, so I've been letting her out for free time of longer duration. Now, when it is time for her to go in her crate, she is whining & barking all the time. Should I just ignore it?

Also, this morning, she peed & pooped in her crate! Do I need to go back to square 1 with the training and have her crated all day?

She pees on pads which are in an xpen.
