I would not keep a puppy in that for the simple fact thar most puppies chew. After having surgery on one of my dogs who ate a peice of crate pad (several thousand dollars) I'd be very careful to use only things that can't be chewed up easily unless you can keep an eye on her. At night thar wouldn't be possible. A wire or plastic pet taxi type crate would be best but I think wire is the safest choice. Good luck with your baby
