Congratulations on your new litter. I am so sorry you lost one baby. Your momma's behavior is fairly normal and she is looking for privacy for herself and her baby. I always keep my momma's confined in a big x-pen until the puppies get older. Do you have other dogs around in the house? The momma needs to be confined to a smaller area where she feels safe. I always drape sheets on the sides of the x-pen to give the momma more privacy. How is she doing today? |
