Was your puppy walking around when you got him? A 2 1/2 week old puppy usually cannot walk. It is usually not until they are 3 1/2 to 4 weeks before they start walking and even then it is wobbly. You cannot judge age by the teeth. I have heard of some puppies not getting their teeth until they are 6 weeks old or older. One reason he is biting so much is because he was taking away from his mother so early and he was not taught social skills from her. It is now up to you to play the role of the mother. If I were you, when he tries to bite I would gently hold him by the scuff of the neck and say 'No'. Basically, that is what momma dogs are doing to their puppies went they snap at them when weaning them and when the puppies are out of line. I pray your baby continues to do well.
