It is. Why get on the defense when no one is on the offense? Just seems to promote a victim mentality and could actually be more damaging to the african american race than good. It almost seems like a threatening statement. No one deserves special treatment, no matter their race, and it almost seems like he expects that they should. My best friend is black, and she gets very embarassed when people make statements like that.
