Melissa,
Meg *loves* "The Honest Kitchen". It's a wet food (dehydrated cooked meat/raw veg/etc, and you add water) but she is nuts about it. It might be worth a try for Prince. I'd like to get her to be able to eat kibble eventually - just because 1) it's more practical while I'm traveling with her, and 2) because it keeps her teeth clean. But at least she's eating a nutritious food in the meantime. I'm going to start adding a little crushed kibble into the wet to get her used to a little crunch.
My vet said that wet food is fine to feed a dog as long as she will let you brush her teeth. She also suggested giving Meg a small Nylabone to help with the tooth thing. Also, she said that since Meg is going to lose her baby teeth anyway, it's not too big of a deal if she doesn't like having her teeth brushed for now. Of course, I still need to get her used to having her teeth brushed.
