I am so sorry I have not replied sooner but I have been busy with my sweetie. Took her to the vet last week and she had ultrasound and x-rays done. I did get to see the puppies spines and the vet counted 4 babies. She is a lot further along than either my husband or myself thought. The vet says she is due any day now and I believe that it will be this week. She has gained six pounds. Her original weight was anything below 14 lbs and now she is exactly 20 lbs. The vet said the babies look fine and expects a normal delivery. She has been panting a lot since last night and will not eat, only drinks water, and wants to be only with me. I feel so bad for her and I wish there was something I could do to help her feel more comfortable. How long are they typically in labor?......Anyway, will return in a couple of days and hopefully I will have joyful news for everyone....by the way I have a lot of people fighting for her puppies, little do they know that they will need to fill out an application and I am going to visit their homes to make sure they are puppy proof......
