hello all, prince had his ultrasound and EKG today. The doctor said everything is normal, no congentital heart diseases or anything which is very good to hear
he even had a heart specialist in the room with us who had come from another office to run the test on prince.. the cardiologist said that he does hear a slight arrythemia but it is nothing to worry about and he will most likely grow out of it. He doesnt think it has any correlation to the incident we had.. he says it was probably just a hypo case. This is very good news but now i feel like it was my fault this happened.
i should of made him eat better.. but i def learned from my mistakes and i think prince is on the road to success now!
i also brought up the fact that he isnt eating wet food and only wants home cooked food.. the vet told me that i should def get him back on the wet because it is very hard to make sure he gets all the vitamins and minerals he needs esp as a growing puppy. with the puppy food it already has everything he needs in it. so we are going to start teaching prince to like his wet and dry food again, wish us luck!!
oh & the vet gave me omegaderm (essential fatty acids omega 6 and omega 3 plus vitamin A & E) they are these little packets that you mix with their food once a day, supposed to help with skin and coat (prince does have a little dry skin) what do you think about this product?
