Believe me, toy dogs do no thave to look pregnant to be pregnant. I had a papillon bitch with a singleton that never gained even a half pound and looked totally normal. I also had one with a litter of 6 that you could tell was pregnant but I suspected only 1-2 puppies until she was x-rayed.
I would not feel stupid about x-raying a bitch that I knew had mutliple ties during her last heat, even if she weighed less than she did before that! |
