lschatz try to put in the stretch bands out of the baby department for her to get used to something in her hair at first. They just have to get used to the idea. Not sure what technique you are using to get the bows in place. You start at the corner of each eye and go in a v pattern to the top of the head. Make sure they are not too tight, as pulling the eyes up, so they can't close their eyes. This will take take some time to master....
