He will take food from anyone- i'm sure. So i woudln't worry about that
It isn't like you are leaving him at a kennel where he might not get as much loving, there will be people home who will pick him up and play with him so to be perfectly honest, he probaly won't notice much that you are gone. BUT he will be very happy to see you when you come back
