I said some were backyard breeders too. What you call a good breeder may be different than what I call a good breeder. I'm really glad you checked out her home, but I also have no respect for the CKC since they will register any dog with absolutely no proof. You don't even need to prove you have breeding rights to register a dog with them, and they do not allow a breeder to refuse breeding rights. They even register mixed breeds so what's the point? Many breeders who have been suspended from the AKC have turned to the CKC. Here's a link that compares a backyard breeder to a good breeder.
