I feed my two around 5:30 too and they go out several times between that and bed time. Maybe you should go out RIGHT (I mean, right before) before you go to bed.
I have never had them go potty at night...they seem to be pretty much on our schedule...sleep and then get up and go in the morning. Now, that doesn't mean there haven't been times that I haven't gotten up when they were ready to go in the morning
but you get the idea.
It sounds like it might be getting under control!
If anything else...maybe just ask your vet about it too.
