Okay, admittedly, I am NEW to the whole Yorkie ordeal. I am currently owned by a 14 week old female yorkie that I recently purchased from a local breeder. This breeder was located through Craig's List, so there was no actual recommendation.

It was explained to me, by the breed that my puppy was part of a rescue. That she was one of 3 puppies...and their mom and dad, that were SOLD to her by another breeder who was quitting the business.

My puppy has paperwork to state that she is a ACA registered Yorkshire Terrier, but she looks like she is a MIX. Not that this is a bad thing, I love her all the same.

But later if I breed her, I don't want to give the puppies to someone UNSUSPECTINGLY thinking they're getting a pure bred and they really aren't PURE.

My puppy has an elongated nose...but no teddy bear face. I figured its because she is mostly black in her face. But her back and chest have ODD HAIR!

Her hair is more wavy...bordering on curly.

Can someone tell me if this is normal?
