How terrible for you and especially for Lexie. My first thought is why put her through a second surgery? She can't get pregnant, (uterus removed from first surgery) she will just be going through heat cycles. Have you asked the vet how large the risk of cancer would be? I know the percentage is small, I sure would hate to put the little girl through a second procedure... Just a thought. |
