I understand your frustration...my little Shelby Rae is very independant and won't sit on me on the couch..she likes to sit on top of the couch and it took alot of patience to potty train her...she has a doggie door now and uses it but when it is raining she will still potty on the floor.lol she is 8yrs old now and I've had her since she was 12 wks... I've learned to cuddle when she just woke up and on the bed but she only allow me to do it for a little while...they have their own personalities like kids...my Rhenny on the other hand was always on my lap and right against me and she loved to give kisses...I have to bribe Shelby with treats,,lol anyway keep working with her personality and you'll find what works...
