Yes, I know. This is my greatest fear! She has actually taken 3 leaps from the bed in the 6 weeks that we've had her. Each time she comes out smelling like a rose. Our floor is padded and carpeted. I was researching pet ramps today instead of steps. I think that would be easier for her. But again, our bed is 33- 35" high. Most ramps only go to 27". her little legs won't make it those last 6-8". Unless I'm not giving her enough credit. She's a fearless little thing. I know sleeping in bed with us isn't a great option but here goes. If we crate her, she wakes up every 2 hours to go potty. If we put her in bed with us, she will do at last 5-6 hour sleep without having to go potty! This is wonderful! But I don't have to tell all those new mommies out there what that feels like. So this is the reason we keep her in our bed.
