we got a couple of blankets with different textures and we also got a stuffed animal that was twice as big as him to snuggle with. we slept with these things the first night we got them so they had our scent and then we put them in his xpen with him at night. he loved the stuffed animal the most, he always slept with his neck over the animal. this worked out well.
