what I did when I first got Odie was put a sweatshirt that had my scent on it in his crate and put a clock that ticked it put him to sleep and we didn't have any problems with him crying over night. I also found that he was cold too so we put a heater near him so that he was warm so it was a combination of things that made our nights much easier. I hope your nights go better
