 Barking and crying at night
We have had Kody since the Sunday before xmas. He is a little sweetheart. I have been enjoying him so much except at night. We have crated him at night since we got him. He cries for the first 10 or 15 minutes and then goes to sleep. He wakes up about 2 and I get up and let him outside to potty. We come back in and i put him back in the crate. He will bark and cry unitl I get back up. One night he cried for an hour and I could not stand to hear him cry. I haven't gotten much sleep and it is taking a toll on me. I have become cranky (which is not like me). The last two nights I have slept on the couch with him jsut so i could get some sleep. I am a very light sleeper. My husband and i are going today to get a gate so we can put him in the kitchen at night instead of the crate. Is this a good idea or does any one have any suggestion. |
