What is the required protein limit for puppies?? I had Tucker on TOTW and that had 32 percent protien. I honestly believe he has gained to much weight on it for his size. When he was 10 weeks old he weighed 2.5 pounds and that was before I switched him compeletly over. At 16 weeks old (his last vet checkup) he was 5 pounds, in 6 weeks he gained 2.5 pounds. That just seems like alot to me
but I could be wrong. I know that you cant go by the charts and parents but for his small cobby frame I wouldnt think he could handle too much more weight. He isnt alot taller than he was when I first got him. My toy poodle who has been 4 pounds and sometimes under since she was 5 months old had even gained weight on TOTW, she actually looks alittle fat!!
Im guessing that not all high protien foods are meant for all dogs.
