Use caution with Peroxide - especially straight from the bottle (35% pure). Not only is it toxic it will destroy healthy flesh as well as killing germs.
My vet has always recommended using peroxide to do an initial cleansing and then switch over to Betadyne for daily cleanings. If the wound doesn't heal within a reasonable period of time, a trip to the vet is in order. |
