I have had Misty, who just turned 3, since she was a kitten. She followed us around at a Christmas tree farm and the owner told us we could take her home. That was my first experience with a cat, at 26, since my family was always a dog family. My other cat, Ash, who is 5, I just got a month ago from a rescue group. Both of them curl up and cuddle with me every night in bed.
It sounds like I'm doing everything right with them. They are both strictly indoor cats, fed kibble, and are both fixed.
