It is hard and mushy but what color is it? Can you see through it? Is there pus in it? Callouses wouldn't be that irritating I wouldn't think. If it isn't getting noticeable better, I would let the vet look.

No I didn't wrap it and no e-collar. I know that's bad, but he is home alone and don't want him to get into trouble with a bandage, etc...
He won't lick the neosporine though...

It is his skin color and can't really see thru it. I don't see any pus.

I am getting scared
