Her ears were very dirty and my vet showed me how to use them safely and I have done it for Hooks the same too and no problems. I tried the kleenex, but when I just tried to see if all the gunk out of her ear was gone it was almost completely covered.
I don't mind not using the q-tips since kleenex ususally works fine with Hooks. I was thinking maybe she has had the infection all along and maybe that is the cause of the excessive dirty ears.
Just kind of annoyed because I took her to the vet (I tried out a new one at the office) and she pretty told me she was healthy but didn't do anything that any of the other vets did when I brought in puppies.... I just thought it was me being too sensitive.
