I have been teaching my boy the LEAVE IT command, and he is doing really well at it. These babies learn really fast and it is easy to teach but it can take some practice. Place a treat on the floor and tell em to LEAVE IT, if they go for it take the treat. After a few tries they will get what you are trying to do. Leave the treat there and say Leave it, when they don't touch it give them a treat from your hand. Now I don't use the treat anymore and I use their favorite toy and give plenty of praise.
