What time do you feed him dinner? I would recommend taking him on a small walk before bedtime. This might help him to poop before you go to bed. My boy poops in the morning when he gets up, I am sure he probably need to a little before he gets up and then he does and hour before bed.
walking will help them poo faster and if you can get him to go before bed then he should be good for the rest of the night.
