The Nature's Variety comes in small medallions that are frozen. We just take a few out and let them thaw in the fridge. |
I just ordered some of the NV medallions for Wookie

. I am going to be doing the rotation diet between those and kibble (he won't eat canned). So he will only be eating 1/2 a medallion at night. I was wondering about the thawing out of those, says you have to use them within 24 hours of thawing. Am I ok to thaw one, use half one night and the other half the next night? Its taken me a long time to get over being scared of feeding raw (a mental thing for me) that I am still a bit scared of bacteria or something, don't want to give anything a chance to grow on them!
