I think I am going to have to take Wookie
to the vet AGAIN tomorrow. His eyes have been more gunky than usual the past week, but this weekend I notice him not holding one eye open as much as the other and blinking it a lot. Today there is a little more stuff coming out of it than the other and have seen him rub it a couple times. I guess maybe either a scratch, infection (stuff seems to be
maybe starting to be slightly yellow) allergies or something. So since Oct, he has had emergency exploratory surgery, discovered he has luxating patella, had struvite crystals in his urine and continues to have alkaline pH and now this!
I don't have kids, but I think this must be pretty close to what its like!! It doesn't help that I get online and start trying to diagnose everything myself and get all worked up over what it could be!!! (Does anyone else do this?)
Oh, and I also have been stressing over his food since his pH is so off. Think I have decided that I am going to do a rotating diet of kibble and raw (he won't eat canned or I would alternate with that too). Thanks for the comments I got on that decision!
