I'm so sorry for what you and your family are going through. Last August I lost my 10 yr. old Newman to cancer and then this August I lost our 17 month old Jersey (Who my boys brought home to heal our hearts) to a brain abnormalty. I swore we were done with anymor. I stopped being involved with rescue etc. then along came Beans. Beans was living in a 9x12 plastic carrier and was amaciated. We've had him four months now and he's ours for good. He wasn't planned but I'm glad we have him. He has helped so much to heal our hearts and the hearts of our Yorkie girls. When the time is right another will come and although your new addition will never take the place of your Minnie he or she will help to fill the void you and your family feel, including little Mickey's.
