Interesting to read all of this info. I truely thought it was expensive for the papers. Could I try asking for them now?? I wonder... They we born on 10-14-08. I'm positive she has full breeding rights for her dogs because we have friends who got the papers for their dogs they got from her. Here's the catch which I should've mentioned earlier. The dam was actually not her's, it was one of her puppies from a previous litter who she gave to a guy friend and they bred her sire and his dam (his first liter). Unfortunately the dam's owner is a young college student and wasn't on top of anything. The sire's owner knew we were interested in yorkies so she recommended these pups. And since he was a newby, she had to interveen and play the role of the breeder. I wish I would've held out for one of her own litters, but we couldn't resist. She has only one, sometimes two litters a year and she already had people with deposits for the next litter! Bummer
