I agree with your viewpoint about the spending issue, but I know that I repeatedly go over $50 on just little things, and then usually one or two special items. I keep a box with good things for the GE and pull it out when I need it. There is over $20 worth of stuff in that box now, but I LIKE to spend more when I have it. So I think I'm going to limit myself to one a year and buy things one at a time. Helps me afford the good stuff. plus $20 isn't a lot of stuff for a little dog.
