Piper had a tick this past summer. I removed it yet she had this sore days later. When that healed she had this bump that was like the size of a pea. When she went to the vets to have some puppy shots I asked him about the tick bite. He said that it was an allergic reaction and it would go away eventually. It did, but it took months.
