I understand that you should NEVER feed a small dog once a day.........after 6 months twice a day is fine, or you can free feed if your yorkie has self control over amount consumed.
Feeding once a day does not keep blood sugar levels stable, and furthermore will cause a dog to gorge itself during its only feeding, producing digestive problems.................
