I agree with post above. When I lost my older cat Jesper (he was 17 yrs old, RIP), my younger cat Suki was grieving and seemed depress for a few days. But overtime he got better and was back to his old self. Now Suki lives with my parents, b/c my husband is allergic to cats, and he's quite happy there.
