Try taking his kibble, putting it in a Ziplock and pounding it to crumbs. I did this for my pup a few weeks back when he could not chew his food (would take him 10 min to chew 1 piece of kibble) and he ate it right up. Also if he is still reluctant, try crumbing in one of his favorite biscuits or treats. This helped as well. I also did not want to give him wet b/c then he would get used to it and possibly not go back to his dry. Good luck
