We just bought a yorkie-poo, have had it 3 days now but on day 2 our 3 year old did something and ended up breaking the rear leg the upper bone. Well after going to the vet the vet did some test and found out she has parasites read bad. So for the last 24 hrs the puppy has a hard time walking with the splint and the biggest issue really is she appears to now have the runs due to medication. I am not sure if it hurts her but it appears so cause she cry's just before using the restroom. Has anyone else experienced this and what would be the best food for her and such. I feel sorry for her cause I can't help and she is so presious at just over 8 weeks old.
Also the splint the vet used is so big it makes it hard for her to move.
