Size charts are an estimation. There is no way to be 100% accurate as to what their actually weight will be in the end, there are too many factors that can change their weight to be completely accurate. A small dog can be overweight or underweight just from their feeding habits and that alone will change weigh estimations. I have several dogs that are the same size but weigh very differently, some eat well and some are picky eaters. I do track weigh growth with every litter for comparison purposes. Having litters with the same parents and keeping accurate charts can help us breeders track growth better, but it still isn't 100% accurate.
