Sway says this is great advice!! I did this to Bailey too, it used to drive me mad when he cried in his crate (i have a HUGE crate) He stays in it during the day when i am a work but if my nan comes over bailey has to go in his crate as she is 72 and does not like dogs
He used to cry all the time and i just ignored him, he is in a diff room in his crate which i think was a big help to train him. Now i can put him in there and he knows not to cry
if he didnt cry when he gets let out he is gets a treat and i play with him. It really worked for me
