Hi there.

I am new to this place. I recently lost my yorkie. 2 Golden retrievers ganged up on her and ripped half of her face off (I am sorry Of the graphicness) She lived.. aftter, literally, half of her face being tore off, she lived for a few hours and may have even survived by a miricle. But she would have been put through too much pain. I had my baby put to sleep at the age of 9 months.

These goldens are family dogs. Were great with other dogs and there family has five kids. It all happened so fast. I was watching them. And when I turned to pour a glass of juice, they were both on top of her and ripping her apart. In the time it took me to get into the room right next to the kitchen, were i was (Its an open consept so I was watching them as i was in the kitchen) .. She didnt even do anything to provoke them. They just turned on her. She has been around pittbulls and rottweilers, and have never had a bad experiance. BUt goldens sent her to her death????? I dont undestand. I think i am still in shock even though it happened 4 days ago.
