I'm definitely no expert on potty training, but my guess would be that maybe she's peeing in the house because it's a new environment to her that she has to get used to. She may have to be re-trained or "reminded" where she's supposed to go potty. Since crate training isn't seeming like the best option, I'd try doing what you'd do with a young puppy. Monitor her closely, take her out every hour or so and if she goes, give her a treat and praise praise praise. Patience is definitely a key word here. Don't give up on her! Good luck!
