Default Good news and bad news at the vet

I took the girls for their annual physicals and shots today. Bad news is, Holly has bilateral LP, looks to be grade 1 on the right and grade 2 on the left. I was aware of the possible diagnosis when I took her for her first vet visit right after I got her. She is not favoring either leg so we will watch and wait and see how she does.

Gracie's bilateral LP surgery was a success. Both knees have healed well with no luxation. Her left knee has some crunching in it, which the vet thinks may be some early arthritis.

So both girls are now on a glucosamine supplement, kitty dose. I gave the vet the article that was circulating here a short while ago about the flea control meds. She will review and get back to me with her opinions. She said in glancing that the only two mentioned in the article that she would recommend are Frontline and Advantage. I'll let you all know what she says.
