my daddy used to threaten my fish that hes going to kill it and make it into betta sushi (he owns a jap restaurant) because he was tired of cleaning the tank (back when i was 12 yrs old, my betta lived in a massive tank all by itself and my daddy had to help me clean it because it was too heavy for me lol)
