I'm a soapmaker and looking at the ingredient list, the shampoo is soap-based instead of detergent-based. It contains potassium hydroxide, which means that the avocado oil (and the other oils) have been saponified. There should only be a minimal amount of free oils (superfatting) in the shampoo. You should be just fine. Natural soaps are normally too alkaline for a pet's skin, but it looks like they use citric acid to adjust it to the proper pH!
