I asked the same question and was many responded yes that it is fine but be careful. I recently transitioned Snickers to BG Merrick chicken from their Puppy Plate. He was doing great, loving his food, pooping all good. I then tried to mix in some Salmon flavor for him and he pooped 4 times yesterday!! So watch out. You might want to keep the meat base the same and just try another flavor. I am sticking with chicken. Hope that helps...I my have tried the new flavor too early though after the initial switch.
